Teaching Excellence in Removable Dental Prosthetics

Each week, Shane Chambers teaches into the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at James Cook University (JCU), teaching students in the area of Removable Dental Prosthetics. His approach to teaching is grounded in a commitment to developing capable, confident future dental professionals through practical, engaging and student-focused learning.

Shane continually seeks opportunities to strengthen his teaching practice and improve outcomes for his students. In 2026, this commitment was further demonstrated through his completion of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, enhancing his knowledge and skills in contemporary vocational education, training and assessment practices.
